About the Teachers

Dr. Deanna Carell and Dr. Cara Kovats graduated from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine where they studied acupuncture and herbal medicine. They then went on to receive their DACM from the Pacific College of Health and Sciences. They are both board certified acupuncturists who specialize in microneedling. When they are not working on Microessence course material and teaching CEUs, they both practice privately seeing patients for acupuncture as well as microneedling.
